So, I made a new mistake =P I got a few colonists and tried to find a free earth-like planet. To my dismay all of them were taken (as far as I could tell from traveling around for 3 days). If I want to colonize another planet I will need a bio-dome. That means I need 32 plexiglass. With the colonists in one cargo slot that leaves me 3x8 = 24 slots. In other words I need to get rid of the colonists if I hope to build a biodome. My thought was; "ok, fine, I'll just dump the colonists somewhere". This proved to be difficult (or impossible?).

This is what I've tried:

  1. Sell colonists at a station.
  2. Jettison colonists into space.
  3. Unload colonists on uninhabitable planet.
  4. Unload colonists on Earth.

None of this has worked and I am now stuck with colonists blocking a slot. (It seems I'm becoming that guy that does weird things, almost as if I'm looking for bugs).
